Ritchie Hockey Foundation Scholarship Application
The Ritchie Hockey Foundation was founded in 2009 by Donna & Bob Ritchie in honor of their son Jason who was tragically killed in a car accident. His spirit lives on through our work to provide much needed resources to student athletes like him who play their hearts out. With our corporate and individual donors we are able to lead skill clinics and award scholarships to deserving student athletes who need our help to continue growing through hockey. We believe that talented and driven young athletes should only be limited by the size of their dreams and the depth of their commitment, never by availability of financial resources. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by committee with final board approval for each and scholarship amounts are determined based on need, amount requested and funds available. The Ritchie Hockey Foundation reserves the right not to fund scholarship requests for any reason. Additional information on the clinic can be found at
www.ritchiehockeyfoundation.org.
The Jason Ritchie Hockey Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization (tax identification number 26-4803477) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowable under IRS regulations.
