American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida (AIIC) is committed to providing comprehensive, residential insurance products to Floridians. Our mission is to specialize in a wide variety of products, including Site-Built homes, Manufactured homes, Rental homes and Seasonal/ Secondary properties, and to grow in the direction of the needs of our customers.
AIIC was incorporated and received its Certificate of Authority in September 2006 for the purposes of responding to the overwhelming shortage of residential insurance availability in Florida. Since inception, we have assumed over 70,000 homeowners, manufactured housing, and dwelling fire policies from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, and are represented by over 2600 agents statewide. We were the first insurance carrier to receive depopulation approval in Florida in almost two years, and have assumed a much higher number of policies than any carrier in an even longer period of history. We were also the first to resume the take out of Citizens policies after the 2007 Legislative Special Session devoted to property insurance.
Our Claims operations is dedicated to helping you manage the risks in everyday life, and is also ready to respond with timeliness and compassion when you do have a claim. Our claims staff is a group of seasoned professionals staffed in locations throughout the state. In addition, we have a dedicated Catastrophe team of over 150 professional adjusters, ready to respond to a disaster with full emergency resources in place. American Integrity's Claims Director has extensive claims experience and possesses a broad understanding of the special needs of Floridian homeowners.
American Integrity holds a Demotech Financial Stability rating of A, and we are backed by multiple Reinsurance carriers, each holding an AM Best rating of an A- or better. We have more than doubled our surplus over a year's time, from $9.5 million to over $23 million.
